The Body Is the Theatre for Emotions...

Whether emotional problems are manifested behaviorally or physically, neurotransmitters and stress hormones are at play.

Nearly 57.7 million people—about 1 in 4 adults—suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in any given year. New understanding of the reciprocal relationship between the stress response and neurotransmitter balance provides insight into the prevalence of depression in both the young and old.

The Depression Pandemic Workshop is designed for healthcare practitioners who are interested in exploring the highlights of Dr. Jay Lombard’s two seminars: The Depression Pandemic and The Neurobiology of Mood and Cognitive Disorders.

At this exciting workshop,we will review the key neurotransmitter imbalances and their unique relationships with emotional and cognitive states. Exploring beyond serotonin,we will discuss the interplay of neurotransmitters and stress hormones in relation to depression subtypes, including:

  • Fatigue-dominant, depressed state
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Disrupted sleep patterns

Lastly,we will discuss pattern recognition and profile-specific, cutting-edge natural therapies that you can easily implement in your practice.

Key Clinical Takeaways:

  • Discover how to identify distinct patterns of depression subtypes and disturbed sleep
  • Learn simple nutritional strategies for the management of common neurobehavioral patterns, including cognitive decline, attention deficit disorder, and generalized anxiety
  • Learn how to streamline supplemental protocols and improve clinical outcomes by reinforcing healing messages between the mind and body

Attendees will receive:

  • A 3-step program to clinical success
  • Assessment forms to assist in identifying limbic-hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal imbalance, as well as emotional and behavioral challenges
